What is Pokeccountant?
Pokeccountant is an educational set of collectible cards focused on financial literacy. Each card has its own topic and description, and they range from "how do I do my taxes" all the way to health insurance terms. This set includes 151 normal cards and 36 alternative-art holographic "Starry Rares" to collect (187 total). The topics and descriptions between the two types of cards are identical.
I wanted to make Pokeccountant accessible to anyone, regardless of their prior financial literacy knowledge. The topics build upon each other, so these cards are meant to be read in order. If you're missing a card and need more context, please see the "guides" page for a PDF of all card descriptions.
I hope my work helps you learn something new, and brings some laughs along the way (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
Why should I trust the explanations on Pokeccountant?
You probably guessed already, but Bubu Moomoo is a pen name and Pokeccountant isn’t all that I do (ᵕ—ᴗ—). During the day, I work as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and in the accounting world, the CPA is one of the hardest licenses to get. To become one, I had to pass 4 exams focused on taxes, auditing, financial accounting, and business concepts. It’s sorta like the BAR exam, but for accountants instead of law students. I also have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting.
All that to say, I have a pretty strong background in this field. More than anything, stuff like economics, taxes, and personal finance are all things I find really interesting. Teaching others is also something that brings me happiness.
I’ll never say that what you find on Pokeccountant is everything you need to know or set in stone. Pokeccountant is a good starting point, but I’d always encourage you to do more reading and research with separate, credible resources. There’s only so much text you can fit on a 2.5 × 3.5 inch card, after all. ( • ᴗ - )
When does my pre-order ship?
Pokeccountant pre-orders are estimated to ship out November 21st, 2025. This date can change due to supply chain or customs issues. I'll do my best to update you on any changes via email, social media, and etc.
When are restocks?
Once pre-orders are shipped in November, I’m going to try weekly restocks. This may change depending on how busy I get. If you sign up for emails, I also send a notification when restocks happen!
Do you offer returns or cancellations?
Pre-order Cancellations: you're welcome to cancel your pre-order if you change your mind, but you can only cancel prior to the day I ship them out (estimated November 21, 2025).
Returns: unfortunately, I don’t offer returns or exchanges at the moment. I live in a pretty small apartment (and work a 9-5), so it’s a bit too much for me to handle. If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to me via the “contact” page.
Do you offer international shipping?
I also ship to Canada. Import fees, taxes, and other fees may be applicable if you're ordering from outside of the U.S.A. These are usually charged separately by the shipping company. Please watch out for these charges, as your order may be stuck at customs until you pay it.
When will other items become available?
Apparel and stickers will become available soon after the Pokeccountant pre-orders are shipped in November 2025. Please stay tuned for updates and new products!
Are there order limits?
Yes, to give as many people as possible a chance to buy, Pokeccountant packs are limited to 18 per order.
